Kidderminster Lions were today crowned League 5-a-side winners for the 2011/2012 season and lifted the D&J Moore Cup. With the squad split into two teams both teams topped their groups and avoided playing each other in the semi-finals. The “White” team were unfortunate to lose their semi-final on sudden death penalties while the “Blue” team won their semi-final 2-0 and in some style. The final was a tight affair but with Jack J unbeatable at the the back and some great pass and move football from the whole team it was a fantastic drilled strike from Jamma that won the game. Well done, Lions.
